Kelvin Cheng joined Sizmek in 2017 as Managing Director and is responsible for running its operations in China, leading the company’s 30-strong team and driving new business across the region. He was previously the Managing Director of Criteo China for nearly two years, starting that role in 2015. Prior to that, Cheng was CEO of Beijing-based ad agency, Triton Advertising for seven years, and has also worked as Country Manager, China for DoubleClick. Kelvin has extensive agency experience, having worked as Managing Director of Leo Burnett in Beijing and Hong Kong. He worked at the agency between 1997 and 2006, where he joined as an account director and was eventually promoted to a leadership position in the region. Through the course of his agency and ad tech career, Cheng has worked with brands such as China Mobile, McDonald’s, Li-Ning, Ctrip, Gap and many more. He believes that future of digital advertising in China will be focused on bringing creative and data intelligence to the fore, powered by Artificial Intelligence. Cheng works closely with some of the largest advertisers and agencies in China to help them drive better results for their business.
