Brett Wightman is a passionate architect and designer interested in solving complex social, economic and transport related problems through the medium of architecture.
Travel and exploration are at the heart of Brett’s design philosophy. By engaging, living and adapting to local cultures and traditions he is able to design spaces that are regionally authentic whilst fulfilling the financial aspirations of international stakeholders.
Based in Singapore, Brett has recently completed the upgrading and extension of Singapore’s beloved Changi Airport Terminal 1, a 180 stage five year project, designed and constructed over a live operating Terminal. Brett possesses strong Asian based experience working on complex construction programs spread over multiple stakeholders. He possesses a solid understanding of the construction process and an ability to deliver world class design projects throughout the world.
Brett heads up Populous’ Asia Pacific Aviation group. He is presently working with a number of Airports in the region to explore innovative and alternative revenue streams for Airport Terminals of the future.
