王涛研究员,理学博士,二级研究员,博士生导师;1982年毕业于原成都地质学院;86年在原西安地质学院硕士毕业留校;97年破格晋升为教授。98年在西北大学获博士学位。1999-2001年在北京大学地质学系博士后流动站工作。2001-2014年,中国地质科学院地质研究员。2014年12月-2016年5月,中国地质调查局西安地质调查中心(副主任),2016年5月-2018/9,中国地质科学院地质研究所研究员、副所长。研究领域:构造地质、花岗岩与地壳生长、结构及演化;主持完成国家自然科学重点基金、国际合作项目基金、国家973课题和地质调查工程、重大项目等项目;在中国及邻区花岗岩时空演化、中亚地壳生长及东北亚中生代地壳伸展等方面取得成果;发表论文180余篇,第一作者60余篇,第一作者和通讯作者SCI、EI收录34余篇;参与出版专著3部。以第一作者获国土资源部科技一等奖、中国地质调查局科技一等奖、原地矿部1:5万填图特优图幅奖、中国地质科学院十大进展。现任中国地质学会构造地质专业委员会副主任、区域地质与成矿专业委员会秘书长。
