Emiko Mouri is an assistant professor at Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering of Kyushu Institute of Technology. She graduated from Department of Polymer Chemistry, Kyoto University. She obtained a Doctor degree of Engineering from Kyoto University in 2004.She received Bruce Hartmann First Prize for a Young Scientist Presentation in 2006 andAward for Encouragement of Research in Polymer Science from the Society of Polymer Science, Japan in 2008.She has published more than 50 papers in journals such as Langmuir, Macromolecules, Soft Matter and Colloid Polym. Sci.etc.Her covering field is surface science of polymer system and she has been studying polymer brush systems at the air/water and oil/water interfaces. Currently, she is interested in the anisotropic shape colloidal particle system, such as nanosheets and nanorods.
