Gretchen Benjamin knows the Mississippi River. As Associate Director of the Water Resources Infrastructure program for The Nature Conservancy’s North America Freshwater Program, she provides leadership on the Mississippi River and North American work focused on modernizing infrastructure for nature as well as people—including science, policy and partnership efforts to achieve integrated river basin management.
