ASHER TAL ASHERTALPROF.ASHERTALM.DAsherTal,ProfessorofPediatrics,Ben-GurionUniversityoftheNegev,Beer-Sheva,Israel,foundedandhaspreviouslybeentheheadofthePediatricPulmonaryUnitatSorokaMedicalCenter.Duringthepast15years,hehasalsobeenthephysicianinchargeofSoroka’sPediatricSleepCenter.SorokaisaffiliatedwiththeFacultyofHealthSciencesofBen-GurionUniversityoftheNegev.Prof.Tal’sresearchinterestsincludechildhoodasthma,bronchiolitisandwheezingininfancy,sleep-disorderedbreathing,pediatricandadultobstructivesleepapneasyndrome,andinsomnia.Prof.Talhasauthoredorco-authoredmorethan100publicationsandisamemberoftheeditorialboardoftheJournalPediatricPulmonology.Since2008,Dr.TalhaschairedtheIsraeliAssociationofPediatricPulmonologyuntil2014.Prof.TalretiredinFebruary2015,andcontinuestobetheHeadphysicianofMilleniumSleepLaboratoriesinBeer-Sheva,Israel,aswellasVPofclinicaldevelopmentofAITLTD,Israel,acompanythatdevelopinhalednitricoxideasapotentialtreatmentforbronchiolitisandLRTI.Inaddition,Prof.Talcontinuetobeinvolvedin
